NACCS Small Project Grants

up to £5,000

The Neuroanaesthesia and Critical Care Society (NACCS) is pleased to announce a small project grant of £5,000 to support research/audit in the field of neuroanaesthesia or neurointensive care which should be of clear benefit to patient care. The grant will be awarded in open competition across Great Britain & Ireland, and preference will be given to trainee led proposals.

Applicants who have obtained part-funding for their project from another source may apply for this grant but must declare the details of all sources of funding. Suitable projects include early proof of concept or feasibility studies, especially where it is planned that these lead to larger projects.

Applicants should be members of NACCS, and where successful, will be expected to present their work to the NACCS annual scientific meeting. Successful applicants will also be required to submit an annual report through the Researchfish platform (see below), which will be made available to NACCS. Please note that applicants who do not submit their annual reports on time may not be permitted to apply for further funding until the outstanding report is provided.

Should this application be successful, please be aware that it is now a condition for any NIAA facilitated grant-holder to submit annual reports on the outcomes of their awarded grant through the Researchfish Impact Assessment platform.
