NIAA Deputy Chair

We are currently inviting applications for the role of Deputy Chair of the NIAA.

The successful candidate will support the Chair, Prof Ramani Moonesinghe in overseeing the strategic direction of the NIAA and will deputise in providing leadership for all aspects of NIAA work. They will also work with the NIAA founding and funding partners to fulfil the strategic objectives of the NIAA, alongside the Chair.

The post will be involved in liaising with other senior members of the NIAA’s partnership organisations including the leadership of the RCoA Centre for Research & Improvement, NIAA Grants Officer, NIAA Academic Training Lead. 

The Deputy Chair will also be expected to maintain regular contact with the NIAA administrative team which is based at the Royal College of Anaesthetists. 

The position is a fixed-term post of three years, renewable for a further three year period on agreement of the NIAA Board. There is no remuneration for the role however reasonable expenses will be covered.
